A Look At Available State-Fitness .COMs

Had a comment recently regarding fitness websites which prompted me to take a look at geographic fitness names.

There are no .coms available in the form of: statefitness (like NevadaFitness.com, etc.), but there are several .com hyphenated versions available (like Nevada-Fitness.com). In fact, from today’s search there 39 available state-fitness.com names.

They are:

Hawaii-fitness.com
Alaska-fitness.com
Washington-fitness.com
Oregon-fitness.com
NewMexico-fitness.com
Utah-fitness.com
Idaho-fitness.com
Montana-fitness.com
NorthDakota-fitness.com
SouthDakota-fitness.com
Wyoming-fitness.com
Colorado-fitness.com
Kansas-fitness.com
Nebraska-fitness.com
Oklahoma-fitness.com
Wisconsin-fitness.com
Ohio-fitness.com
Iowa-fitness.com
Illinois-fitness.com
Indiana-fitness.com
Missouri-fitness.com
Mississippi-fitness.com
Arkansas-fitness.com
Alabama-fitness.com
Louisiana-fitness.com
Georgia-fitness.com
NorthCarolina-fitness.com
SouthCarolina-fitness.com
Tennessee-fitness.com
WestVirginia-fitness.com
Delaware-fitness.com
WashingtonDC-fitness.com
RhodeIsland-fitness.com
Pennsylvania-fitness.com
Massachusetts-fitness.com
Connecticut-fitness.com
New Hampshire-fitness.com
Vermont-fitness.com
Maine-fitness.com

That’s 38 (plus WashingtonDC)… the last one that is still available?
NewYork-Fitness.com <– It’s got the hyphen, but still a pretty good name I think.

What about major U.S. cities without the hyphen? The only two I found were (depends on your definition of major):

JuneauFitness.com
SaintPaulFitness.com

Most major cities are still available in the form of city-fitness.com (like “Detroit-Fitness.com”)
