Available US City Names Followed By “For Sale”
Did a look to see what was available and unregistered that had a United States city with a 100,000+ population paired with the phrase “for sale”.
Example: SeattleForSale.com was long gone (registered in 1999, it looks like)
Out of all the cities in the United States with populations of 100,000 or more… there are only 5 domains left:
BoiseCityForSale.com (Idaho) (Most often referred to as just “Boise”, but officially “Boise City”)
CentennialForSale.com (Colorado)
EastLAForSale.com (EastLosAngelesForSale.com is also available… but long) (California)
SpringValleyForSale.com (Nevada)
MetairieForSale.com (Louisiana)
There are three State Capitals left:
FrankfortForSale.com (Kentucky)
PierreForSale.com (South Dakota)
MontpelierForSale.com (Vermont)
That’s it… that’s all that is left for US Cities with populations over 100,000 with the words “for sale” at the end. Setting up a general classified system and promoting it may not be a bad idea… it doesn’t matter that you don’t live there.
