Development Ideas For Some 5-Letter Domains

Its a little late, but here is the much promised look at some development ideas for some available five letter pronounceable .com domains that were listed yesterday.

AwBig.com – This could be useful for anything from adult purposes to a number of other products. It could even be used by the A&W restaurant company.

Krewt.com – Would make a great name for a company with anything doing with salad. Sounds like crouton.

DesiF.com – Great for anyone named Desi, especially if they have a last name that starts with “F”.

GEZip.com – Great for any number of products associated with the General Electric company. Also works well for zipped file transfering software or services.

eDazy.com – Great for someone named Daisy or something with a flower motif.

DIYij.com – DIY is the popular abbreviation for “Do-It-Yourself”, now you just need something that IJ can stand for.

Good luck finding the name of your dreams.

LLLLL.com Development Possibilities

Let’s take a look at yesterday’s list of available and pronounceable 5-letter .com domains and see if any development ideas come to mind.

ULONY.com
There are a number of ULO acronyms listed and this one ends with “NY” (new york). Should be usable for something.

GAYIB.com
IB can be used as “Investment Banker” or “Information Bulletin”. Gay Information Bulletin could work as a developed news site.

KRUCY.com
HUXIT.com
PLUCY.com

These are just the best sounding of the names in yesterday’s finds (our opinion). Huxit also has the popular initials “IT” and plucy has the name “lucy” in it.

And there are many more ideas too, just check out these lists and do some brainstorming.
Thanks for looking!

Some More LLLLL.com Development Ideas

From our list of available and pronounceable LLLLL.com domains we posted earlier, lets look at some development ideas:

Some of the more memorable ones that would stick in people’s minds are:
Tuvvi.com
Kriny.com
Fivvo.com
Izzal.com

Yotia.com – Yo is popular for many uses and “Tia” is spanish for Aunt. Yo Auntie?

Unnen.com – Would make an interesting name for a site that undoes something. Unnen, like how to undo something… how to undo damage caused by a virus, how to undo the copying or deleting of a file, how to undo to pretty much anything.

Druft.com – Has a good one syllable sound. Drift and draft are actual words and Dreft is the name of a popular laundry soap for newborns.

ToSag.com – Would make a great site for a humorous look at getting older.

Wodio.com – Sounds like Elmer Fudd saying “Rodeo”.

There are many quality unregistered domains still out there… do some research and find the name that is perfect for you.

Some LLLLL.com Development Ideas

Straight from yesterday’s list of available LLLLL.com domains, here are some development ideas and other remarks. 5-letter pronounceable .com domains remain good buys, both because of how easy it is to brand them for development purposes or to sell them to others wishing to do the same thing.

ZagID.com – I’m a big fan of short 4L or 5L names with the letters “ID” in them. Very useful for a number of computer/internet purposes. This one has a “cool” ring to it, maybe for fans of Gonzaga Basketball. On another note, if you google this name you find out that Zagid is a first name in some culture(s).

Zaxic.com – No solid development idea for this one, but sounds like a name a drug company would use. “Take two Zaxics and call me in the morning.”

Prubs.com – Not only 5 letters, not only pronounceable, but one syllable too!

Flifa.com – Both cool looking and sounding, as well as a possible (slightly) typo for FIFA.

Dejig.com – If you can jig something… can’t you dejig it? ;)

Dewim.com – (first, see above.) Also, this appears to be a surname in limited use. Contains both an accepted abbreviation (IM=Instant Messaging) and a three-letter word (Dew).

Chowt.com – One syllable, strong sounding.

Gloky.com – Sounds like it would be a great nickname for a cartoon mascot for a website. “Ask Gloky”, etc.

Gomim.com – The fact that this starts with the two-letter word “go” makes it extremely memorable.

HeGit – Design a hillbilly character and plaster him all over a search engine… welcome to HeGit.com, type in what you need and “he git it for you”.

Good luck buying and developing your domain names!

LLLLL.com Development Ideas

Let’s take a look at yesterday’s list of available and pronounceable 5-letter .coms. Here are some development ideas meant to show that there are still great web development projects available for you. Choosing a pronounceable 5-letter .com is a great way to end up with a highly brandable and short domain name.

KLUXY.com
Whatever your development idea is, if it will be based around a cartoon character mascot, picture a humorously designed chicken named “Kluxy”. Cartoon mascots for websites are extremely successful (example: Hostgator).

HowIV.com
Instructional site on how to do IV’s… great for medical purposes. Can develop it into other medical processes too.

GoWik.com
Any domain starting with the two letter word “Go” is immediately memorable. This would make a great wiki site, maybe a wiki travel site (taking into account the word “go”).

ToJaw.com
To jaw… as in “To Talk”, would make a great chat based site. Maybe a forum or message board, possibly a new text message, SMS, or Instant Messenger program. This one’s really good in my opinion.

Ikkit.com
The name itself doesn’t lend to a specific niche, but it is very memorable. Ending with “it” is useful both in terms of “Information Technology” as well as the two-letter word “it”. Do what with it? Ikkit! Maybe a good name for a social bookmarking site?

So, get out there and develop, develop, DEVELOP!

Development Ideas For One-Word Domains

We recently made another post of some available one word domains. We thought we’d accompany that list with some development ideas.

Domain: Mounted.us
A couple uses come to mind for this domain. One is in the adult domain area and we won’t delve into that too far. This would also make a good website name for either a taxidermy business or photo album/scrapbooking business (mounted the photos onto the pages).

Domain: Nominated.us
During this political season, this name could be used to capitalize on the excitement and controversies surrounding the nominating process and the nominees themselves from both political parties.

Domain: Overshadowed.info
This would be a great name for a trivia site or trivia quiz. What is another way of saying trivia? Overshadowed info! Information that is not readily apparent.

Domain: Composed.tv
This site could be all about television theme songs.

Domain: Appearing.biz
This name would work great for any type of celebrity agent or public speaker business or site. A site devoted to getting people to appear at events and celebrations.

Domain: Reviving.biz
A site devoted to the subject of how to breathe life into an existing business that seems to be on it’s last leg.

Domain: Forgoing.TV
Develop a site about the benefits of doing without television. Can be geared and kids or adults… or both.

Domain: Summarized.us
Would work great as a book or movie review site. Taken from the perspective of the book or movie itself, “this site summarized us well”.

Wishing you much luck with whatever your next development idea is.

Domain Development Ideas Involving Available One-Word Domains

Earlier we posted some of the available to register one-word domain names that are out there. Here are some development ideas to go with some of them.

Evaluated.biz
This could work so well for a Better Business Bureau type site or a site that reviews businesses, online or off. People could submit their evaluation of businesses that they have dealt with.

Adaptations.us
A quality one-word domain that is still available. Anything that is labeled as versatile could be promoted on a site called Adaptations.us. Could also work as a site involving people moving to new areas of the country or kids moving to new schools.

Baiting.biz
With the repetitive B’s, this would make a great fishing site.

Inflating.org/info/us/biz
Could make a nice site for a company that rents those inflatable bouncy toys for kids parties and events.

Revived.us
Great sounding name for anything retro. When you go retro you’re taking something popular from the past and reviving it. Revive us at Revive.us!

Avoiding.tv
Set up a parental site to give tips to parents on how they can help their kids watch less TV.

There are still many available domains out there, and even more development ideas!

Some Web Development Ideas w/Available One-Word Domains

Straight from the list of available one-word domain names we posted earlier today comes some development ideas…

Bladders.us
A couple of ideas here… the obvious is a medical site dedicated to healthy bladders or afflictions of the bladder. A very nice niche. The less obvious one is a shopping site related to any or all of the portable water bags used for hiking and biking, those are a big business and you can also sell other hiking and biking related products with them.

Primarily.biz
The .biz extension isn’t nearly as strong as some of the others, but this could be used for political purposes (the presidential primaries are coming up soon) or for a general business site, I see the tag line already, don’t go to those sites that just touch on business issues along with a hundred other topics… here at primarily.biz, we are primarily about business.

Grubbing.org/info/us
Great possibilities as a foodie site reviewing great places to eat.

Kicked.tv
Think of it as an entertainment site dedicated to bios and news on all those “famous” people who’ve been kicked off reality tv shows… once they’re voted off (kicked off) they show up on kicked.tv!

Jingler.net/org/info/us/tv/biz or Jinglers.net/org/info/us/tv/biz
Tons of opportunities for Christmas related sites (as in Jingle Bells).

Battlers.us/tv/biz or Battler.us/tv/biz
A Great site for a gaming related or mixed martial arts site.

There are still many great development ideas out there… and even great names to go along with them. Good luck in your development process.

Available To Register MyCity.coms

From a recent search of an extensive list of American cities (over 250 city names), comes the following results. When combining the word “my” with a city name and looking for just available domains in the .com extension, here is what is available.

MyEastLosAngeles.com (California)
MyKilleen.com (Texas)
MyMiamiGardens.com (Florida)
MyPierre.com (Capital of South Dakota)

These type of geographic domains make great local portal sites. Many people like to set their home page to a screen that brings up only information for their area of the world. Plus, it opens up the possibility of offering email addresses that may appeal to people from these areas.

Nice Domain For A Genealogy Website

One-word domains can sometimes be a great place to start when developing a website.  From our list earlier today that we put up containing available one-word domain names to register is this one:

Generational.info

Genealogy is a big business on the internet, people are constantly using online resource to research their family history.  People looking for information about their previous generations would be a natural visitor to a site called Generational.info – it says exactly what it is.

There are still some one-word domains out there that are highly usable, it just takes some time to research and then some creativity to match them up to the proper development idea.
